Road and Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (Prohibition And Restriction of Waiting and Loading and On-Street Parking Places (Civil Parking Enforcement and Consolidation Order 2019 (Amendment No. 22) 2026
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that 天美传媒 propose that in accordance with the Local Authorities Traffic Order (Procedure) (England & Wales) Regulations 1996 and the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (hereinafter referred to as 鈥渢he Act鈥�), as amended, and Part IV of Schedule 9 to the Act, and The Traffic Management Act 2004 (the 鈥�2004鈥� Act) and all other enabling powers and after consultation with the Chief Officer of Police, to make the above Order, and to amend the restrictions on the following roads as outlined below and in the schedule.
鈥� The Council proposes to make Amendment Order No. 22 which shall have the general effect of amending the 天美传媒 (Various Roads) (Prohibition and Restriction of Waiting and Loading and On-Street Parking Places) Consolidation Order 2019 (鈥渢he Consolidation Order鈥�). The Council considers that the Order is necessary to enhance the provision and operational capacity of on street parking facilities, thereby supporting the continued viability and functionality of Blaina Town Centre and increasing parking availability for residents of High Street, Blaina. The effects of the Order will be to:
鈥� Extend the existing on-street Limited Waiting bay by 24 metres in length along the western side adjacent No鈥檚 109-114 High Street, Blaina, Mon - Sat, 8am - 6pm, 1 hour, no return within 1 hour.
鈥� Introduce a new Limited Waiting bay 26 metres in length along the western side adjacent No鈥檚 98-102 High Street, Blaina, Mon - Sat, 8am - 6pm, 1 hour no return within 1 hour.
鈥� Disabled Person Parking Place on the eastern side adjacent 54 High Street, Blaina to be revoked and Prohibition of Waiting at Anytime parking restriction to be introduced.
鈥� Disabled Person Parking Place to be introduced on the western side adjacent 115 High Street, Blaina.
鈥� Introduce a new Limited Waiting bay 17 metres in length along the western side adjacent No鈥檚 89 - 92 High Street, Blaina, Mon - Sat, 8am - 6pm, 1 hour no return within 1 hour.
鈥� 11 metres of Prohibition of Waiting at Anytime to be revoked at the southern end of High Street. Blaina to increase the existing unrestricted parking bay.as specified on map schedule V27A and V28A.
Full details of these proposals are in the draft Order which, together with a plan showing the restricted area and a statement of the Council鈥檚 reasons for proposing to make the Order are available on the 天美传媒 website and will be so until the expiration date of 21 days from the date on which this notice is published.
If you wish to object to the proposed Order you should send the grounds for your objection in writing to the undersigned by 19th March 2026.
